Dull or Boring, No Way!
One cold, October day, I visited the graveyard
I say hello to Dad, close by I see a Bingo card
This is a surprise, something odd to find here
I imagine how the spirits have fun, a little cheer
I giggle thinking of Bingo, I picture a cute fantasy
Together, the deceased entertain, contented glee!
Now, the clouds darken, rain will soon pour down
I blow a warm kiss to Dad, it's a gloomy sigh, frown
The rain starts, I quickly run to a near flower shed
I slipped hard on the wet grass, now my knee bled
Just before going in, I heard this chuckle, loud cry
"Dearie, you need an umbrella to keep nice and dry!"
This was so strange, quite eerie, who was that voice, he called me Dearie!!! Happy Halloween 2011
