I made this up one day when I was in a fight with my girlfriend because she was pissed off at me for not wanting to go to her school next year and I wanted it to be poetic and I wanted it to explain that she was the most important person in my life but I couldn't go there, so I based it off one of my favorite poems, "I Have a Heart" and this is what I ended up writing.

I can't put into words for you,
what i promise i'll do,
but you have to understand it's just me and you,
but i have high expectations that i must follow through,
so please understand why i can't be right beside you.
