A great cry of anguish rent the
Great weeping and mourning for the light of God
The servants of the God slain and the words of
truth scattered to the winds.
Oh Lord how long must Thy servants
How long oh Lord before You arise up and shake
How long before Thou destroy these workers of
Oh that we should live to see the children of
God put to the sword
To see the seers of Thy truth butchered like
Oh, such shame o' Lord to see Thy words
For darkness has come upon the face of the
Oh, fair land who now shall sing of thy
Who shall show forth the words of
Where o' Lord are the warriors true?
Where are the valiant sons of the
Where are the prophets strong?
Who shall stand in the name of God?
