Endless corridors of glass,

Streets of glittering gold,

Silver walls and gates of ice,

Crimson waters flow

Purple haze like clouds I see,

Bridges spanning time,

Chariots travel through the sky,

Opening worlds beyond

Pain it surges deep within,

Agonizing screams,

nothing rents the air around,

Lost in silence's wall

Endless days I'm lost in mist,

seeing and yet blind,

Wanderer of the hidden planes,

none doth understand

Confusion grips - it tugs on me,

Pain it floods my soul,

Chains do bind me deep within,

yet no forms have they

Whispering words within my mind,

Speaking clear they be,

Blades do clash and steel doth ring,

Yells and shouts sing forth

Smell of sweat and blood is thick,

Carnage everywhere,

Loose the dogs of war they say,

Tears now fill my eyes

Oh, the pain that wells within,

Engulfing like a wave,

Reason flees and hate consumes,

the gods of war come nigh

Evil comes I smell its scent,

It's everywhere around,

Men possessed do rape and slay,

Darkness seeps around me now

The gods of darkness come,

Thunder rents the air,

Where is light in all of this?

Where is love and hope?
