Jealousy A Fire Within
Dreams or reality - which is which
Many do struggle within
Jealousy a raging fire - consuming from within
A power so strong - a raging fire
It brings to many death
Seeds of jealousy are sown
Just tiny little spores
Watered over time they grow
Nourished by much care
Little things - they seem so small
Yet fed by evil weeds
Growing roots so hard to break
Sprouting many shoots
All that’s seen is shaded now
With eyes of jealousy
Words you hear corrupted now
Seeing what’s not there
The mind is playing tricks on thee
Imagining many things
Jealousy has taken hold
Its power it overrules
Let love in truth and selflessness
It breaks these very chains
Love true love will free our minds
Love will cleanse our soul
No one needs a captive be
No one needs such pain
Love from up on high shall sooth
Love our lover brings
