Light in the Shadows
Whispers all around us hear
Listen to the winds
Guiding warning leading you
Down the chosen way
Evil whispers from below
Sent to destroy you
Also whispering in your ear
Guiding the wrong way
Try the spirits we are told
Test the waters first
Some are deadly poison wells
Some are crystal streams
What I've spoken that I’ve said
My words a strong sure rock
Open up thy heart to them
I come to strengthen thee
Creeping through the dead of night
Shadows flitter by
Soundless misty vapours come
Changing as they go
Creatures of the darkness be
Formed in darkened runes
Shivers run right through my spine
Evil stalking men
Yet a ray of hope remains
A burning light within
Chasing all such fear away
Light is ever near
