MY SUNFLOWER

Within the heart of fire deep
A sunburst flared in space
It travelled through the universe
To earth it sped its way

The fireball did bust in flames
It brought a seed to earth
My sunflower seed was sowed that day
Beneath the soil so moist

The seed was sown in fertile soil
And filled with love and light
It then did sprout and wind its way
Unto the sun above

It grew until it flowered at last
And oh the sun shone forth
Unto the Sun the flower turned
And thus it always would

The sunflower oozed with love and light
A guide to one and all
Through seasons rough and weather wild
The sunflower always stood

Its’ face was turned toward the Sun
Reflecting love and light
And then one day transported was
Unto Africa’s fair shore

And thousands there would see its flower
As millions passed it by
They turned to see the Sun so bright
Whose love reflected was

And then one day the time did fall
To move to Heavenly clime
The flower now doth light My halls
Such beauty love and light

And yet behind were left the seeds
Too numerous to recall
Each one within it bears the light
That sunflower gave to them

My precious flower beyond compare
Did let My sunlight through
Now entered in unto My love
My lovely Sunflower fair
