Another day another life
The birds I hear them sing
A chance to live I now do have
A borrowed life I live
I see all things so differently
Each little sound a gift
The flower and the clear blue sky
Converse with me each day
Man's life is filled with care and woe
He never stops to see
Creation's calls around him sing
Sing praises to the Light
The colors that do please the eye
The perfumes rouse and please
The birds do sing the insects too
All pleasing to the ear
To feel the grass beneath ones feet
To wash and swim and run
Ah, oh how now I do rejoice
In all these little things
A friendly smile a gentle touch
A look from one I love
These all combine to teach to me
That life is in all these
A woman's touch her loving eyes
The way she walks and moves
The scent of hair, her curves divine
The Lord, He made them all
A child's laugh, a music note
A poem or a song
These all bring out a part of life
We often pass and miss
What matters now to me you say
And so I answer now
To see the simple joys of life
And give glory to the Lord.
