Soulless Men I Know

Erupting clouds of silver tears

They fill my eyes once more

Soulless men in pinstripe suites

Walk in single file

Weeping follows rains do fall

Pain and suffering in their wake

Ruled by money greed and lust

Soulless men I know

Their tongues do move but never speak

Empty heartless shells

Words of pride and selfishness

Woe to shallow flesh

Lost in dreams of power and fame

They walk in measured tread

Beware the voice corrupting them

It steals the heart away

Living shadows - wisps of air

I see them everywhere

Walking down the streets today

Soulless men I know
