The Dancer
Her body swayed
Undulating enticingly
Feeling the rhythm
The crowd roared its approval
Sweat glistened
Tiny little crystals in the candlelight
Scintillating little drops
Upon her smooth soft skin
Her raven hair whirled
It danced in strands of life
Now one with music did she move
To the tempestuous beat
Her rich dark eyes flashing with fire
She dropped exhausted to her knees
Her breasts heaving
Her body glistening
She reached her arms outstretched
Raised in submission to the music
Loud cheers ripped forth
Torn from the throats of the audience
All were captivated by her energy
Coins flew through the air
Like raindrops all around her
She smiled and then arose
Turning she sauntered away sensuously
Back to the shelter of her tent
Another night had passed
The dancer weaved her spell
