The Temptation
Evil darkness all around vile creatures moving in
Entering in the worlds of men enticing lures to spread
Poisonous sweets they offer you tempting to the eye
Sweet to taste they seem to be destroying from within
Gradually the poison works spreading deep within
Corrupting all the Light within devouring what is pure
Flittering in and out of men guiding with their lies
Creatures of the mist they come whispering deep within
Deadly gasses of deceit doubts that tear the soul
Creatures of the night do walk corrupting all men’s souls
Beware the lusts that fill thy heart beware the tempting eyes
The roads these lead too will corrupt those roads they will destroy
Sensual pleasures of the flesh knowledge offer they
Yet the fee will dearly be thy soul the final charge
Look I say to Light above let not the sirens sing
Shun all profane and evil ways walk now the chosen way
The power of Light it calls to you - take up the challenge now
Tomorrow may be late my friend, tomorrow may never come
