Why did you leave?
It's the not knowing that really hurts,
I searched for you,
in the rain, in the wind, through the hail
and snow, then your footsteps started
fading in the warming sun, unlike my
memories, they are crystal clear.
I see you everywhere, and yet you are
nowhere, I hear your voice, but never the
words, I often see your smile, but can never
kiss those lips. My door remains open, always,
ready for your return.
Why did you leave?
