I

I wear my heart as though a crown,

A crown of many sorrows,

Yet it shines as bright as the day I first bore it.

II

It guides my way like an old forgotten friend or memory,

Through the fog of doubt and foreboding

It lights my way like a lighthouse within guiding my true love to me.

III

This love of mine is strong and true,

I know it won’t leave me blue,

Without any follow through

IV

The fated one will come my way,

On the light of a brand new day

That grand old day of destiny
