Curtain of Roses

A magical place conjured from a dream...

A land shrouded in mist
Slowly uncovered by the stretching dawn
The fields looked simply sun-kissed
The view simply made you want to sigh and yawn

Gardens covered every inch of the place
Flowers that danced and sang to the wind
Their petals blowing away into space
The sight definitely calming the presence of mind

Enter slowly the most secret garden
Past the gates made of morning dew
You'll see to your west a small arden
Sit on the swing, hanging from the ancient yew

Sit and relax
This is where you belong
Within the curtan of roses
