Beauty by the Storm
I look ahead and see a legendary
A woman! To be known by her chastity
Deep within is a dark pleasure beyond virility
Her soul hidden and her feminine beauty stricken
Her skin opposes the sun, as if the star has smitten
The hair hanging without direction, like a labyrinth
Her eyes with tears call out emotion, but only impotence
Perhaps she is half of my perception
I look to my left and see Venus beyond the horizon
At the fullest is the manifest beauty in twilight
With its rocky prints of decency well honed
Every part of its dimension that shines outright
A beautiful entity it is, as is Mercury to my left
Its beauty complemented well during sunset
So small as if grasped by my hand to be felt
How beautiful they are and beyond legendary!
I look ahead again and a storm!
Coming behind the woman, still unattractive
Yet still a legendary by her reputation, oh she stands!
And stares while the storm approaches
Indeed it approaches behind her as if manifest destiny
The storm surrounds her, revealing her true form
Aghast! I feel, by the sudden transformation!
Or just a revelation, as the wind does multiple to her
Lift up her confusing hair in the air
No longer without direction but dispersed
And forever flourishing and wandering like the petals
Of a rose! Her arms extend freely and the tears
Glimmer more rich and light than a diamond
The rain showers her and removes the dark deception
From her skin, and she drowns and drowns
And no longer suffering, as the storm recedes
And disappears. She glows in beauty
As if beauty is not still but always moving
Along with the wind, and Venus and Mercury
Look away as if eaten by jealousy.
I look my reflection in the pond, still a frog
I doubt she will kiss me, now that beauty is alive by the storm.
