They've Been Schooled

Poetry By: Haku Belmont

A short poem about an absolutely just-invented sport. (from my head)

They throw the ball

large and square

and everyone thinks

they're needed there.

One kid catches

the other dives

one gets hit

the other lies.

They stand up

and throw the square again

but everyone knows

through the tackle

they are still friends.

As they leap

Some imagine them

as the fizz from the top of your pop.

As un-interesting as it sounds

they have all finally made it to ground.

The red team wins.
