What I See, All I See

Poetry By: HeTakesMeTheWayIAm
Poetry

This poem is inspired by victims of recent calamities and natural disasters that affected the lives and hearts of people all over the world. I hope you like it; I don't write poetry much, but I myself like this one alot :) I'm usually focusing on my 'Best Friends?' story, but I felt the need to write this!

What I See

All I see

The helpless people

Left in the rubble

Without help

Without hope

What I see

All I see

A natural disaster

Making a disaster in their lives

Creating a disaster in the environment around them

Leaving behind a disaster of chaos

What I see

All I see

The attention of the world

Gives us a reason to care

A reason to give

A reason to show our love

What I see

All I see

Influences from other people

Urgest them to help

To help the lonely, left behind by dead family

To help the hurt, inside and out

To help the homeless, who lost everything

What I see

All I see

New news on the TV

Drifting the eyes of the millions to another event

Leaving the lonely, hurt, and homeless again

They have help, but they still need more

What I see

All I see

Some forgotten, neglected, as a year or two passes by

Some still have no homes

Some still have no comfort

Some still have no hope
