A poem for my mother on mother's day.

Green eyes, just like mine,

Cautious, assuring me she's fine.

But deep inside, she's loss for words,

She sings me a lullaby about birds.

Deep in her arms i'd like to stay,

Wakes me up in kisses every day.

She can't believe she created me,

Everything she says, i must agree.

She strokes my hair, and kisses it,

When i tell her i love her, those green eyes lit.

In that puddle of green, i'dlove to live,

Everything I own i'd like to give.

Because she's given everything to me,

Just like her i'd like to be.

Her soul is yellow,

so merry, so mellow.

So if one day she decides to go away'

I'd cry all my tears and throw myself off a bay.
