A glistening river

Poetry By: HiKitty

This is one of my favourite works-something I just cooked up yesterday :)
It's only 10 lines so I won't tell you what it's about, just read

Down by the old green meadow,

There lies a river bed

Which glistens crystal as it flows,

Or so I've heard been said

Look Closer if you dare,

but stay quite mighty still

For you'll find the faeries lair

And hear them shriek and shrill

To them this is their singing. It doesn't make much sense,

Why they pain our ears. Why not dance instead?
