I wrote four poems really quickly one after another, this is one of them...

I'm Waiting...

I'm sitting in a pool,
A pool filled,
With a crimson coloured substance.

I swim through it,
Like a seal through water,
Like an eagle through the air.

I dunk my head,
Holding my breath,
I'm waiting for something.

Something that I know will come,
I just don't know what,
Or when.

And as I sit there,
I learn something,
I learn what I'm swimming through.

I learn what's to become of me,
I learn when it is coming,
I learn what I'm waiting for;

Death
