I don't know how,
I don't know when,
But someday,
I will repay my debts.
Those threatening debts,
Hanging over my head.
Taunting and restraining.
Someday, I will forever remember,
That I can love and be loved.
Could it be I'm learning now?
Could it be, I'm remembering
That blissful feeling of security?
I'm learning that child-like trust.
I owe it to all those who stayed.
My dear loved one,
Someday, I will return the favor.
You gave me back the ability
To love, to thrust, to be happy.
For all eternity, I will remember,
Those who helped me grow up.
I will remember you,
You who didn't give up.
May God bless you to every extreme,
As He has blessed me in you.
And let you never feel inferior,
As you are far greater than many
In so many more ways than most.
I love you, my dear one,
Please never forget
How you helped me find my way
When I was lost.
