SNOW - NATURE'S GIFT
It falls like petals from the sky
Gently, slowly, drifting down
Leaving a magical carpet of white
That glistens like jewels upon the ground
And the world falls silent in a veil of beauty.
The silence breaks
The children squeal in wonder
Snowmen from nowhere suddenly appear
Some smile, some frown, some look almost human
And there they stand, and watch,as sledges disappear.
The children's laughter's like the sound of music
As onward rolls the sledge from side to side
In this magical world of beauty and excitement
As they twist and turn there is no place to hide
Fromnature's engulfing blanket
That is Snow.
