There is a moment when I am walking by
That unforgettable crossroads with busy people
Rushing to their familiar places
A yellow leaf fall slowly into my hands
Do cold wind blow it aimlessly to me?
A drizzling rain is fondling my face
A countryside girl among a big human tide
A sad piece of music is flying in the air
That alone yellow leaf stays quietly in my palm
These stream of people walk to and fro
No one care who I am
No one know I cried here six years ago
With bewildering eyes and nobody besides
I am on the road to find who I am
Learning right from wrong
Chasing hastily my dreams
….
Who I want to make a call now ?
Who I want to cry on his shoulders?
Who are my true friends?
….
Just go with the wind
Dancing with my leaf
To come back my countryside
….
I see… my windless sky
Those vast green sugar-cane fields
And yellow rice fields with sweet perfume
Flute is dancing above blue sky
Woodland choir is talking about their country life
Innocent children are playing kites
Their laughs linger in evening clouds
A brook is murmuring down through fields
I am flying with swallows to the mountain
My mother is waving to her little child on the field
Her hairs dye evening dews
It was too long …to wait for her child come back home
….
A naughty wind blows yellow leaf off my hand
It sways lightly in the air
Leaving me alone here
In the strange crossroads
Looking at me from above sky of this city
An angel is touching my hand
To the world of my childhood
To my windless sky
….
