A fleeting dream crosses the threshold,
Into the Waking Mind

Of a man, sat at a desk,
While Glowing Orbs light the night

Threatening to sweep him away
Into a world of his own

To fly so high
As to open Heaven's Gates

Or to swim so low
To brush the Ocean floor

Marrying mysterious figures
Fighting distant armies

Dancing to Endless music
Most beautiful.

Until, with a flash,
His Mind awakes

And he is left clutching at a turmoil
Of Hopes, wishes, memories

More precious to him
Than he can place into words.

And so I pick up my pen
And write them for you,

So I may dream again.
