Two Pinpricks of Light,
Snuffed out by the bitter flash
Of the hunter's gun.
The sharp crack
That tears apart the silence,
The discord, the crash
Of symbols singing the eternal song
Of another death.
The powerful paw,
The Hooded Claw,
Buckles under the Rifle.
Boundless Grace
Lost in a single fatal move,
The elegance of a thousand years
Shattered in a single heartbeat.
The Unity of a pack
Mentality, broken as unwanted visitors
Move in to claim what's rightly theirs,
Or so they say.
The same old story of Superiority
To evict those with the rights.
And when I tell the story,
Of the one in Red knocking on the door,
I will sit in my chair
And be faced with the one
Inescapable Observation.
My, what a grim future you have.
