Meaning: They passed a few laws in the state where I live that are in direct opposition of the United States Constitution and I was pretty angry about it, but it seemed as though nobody else cared to stand up against it. I wrote this poem to express my feelings towards that occurrence.

There's always more than what there appears to be, the faces of truth hidden under the mask of society. The masses of expectation feed the beast of oppression and perpetuate their own deprivation, but buried within their dark-clouded minds is the flame of passion. The fire inside lay dormant, but still flickers hope in the back of the eye. To awaken and let such a force be rampant, to melt the oppressive chains and feel that relieving sigh, to burn with a sense of wild freedom and overcome the fear of sleepless nights, this fire inside is a crucial part of our human rights. We'll push through the smoke and set our minds aflame. Cease your inhumane breach of our justified fight. Release the folk or we'll burn those to blame. Freedom of speech is our constitutional right.
