Ok, this is a variation on the Lionheart Challenge that me and my good friend Ghiradelli Girl thought of. We gave each other our own words. My words were:
1. Shrouds
2. Epitome
3. Chivalry
4. Azure
5. Silhouette View table of contents...

Sometimes I feel as if every day is Halloween,

Everyone shrouds themselves, not letting their faces be seen,

Their masks may conceal their ugliest sides,

But also their extraordinary beauty the masks hide,

For nothing beautiful can come for free,

What reason? That is only a whispered mystery,

Are people simply trying to be the epitome of what is right?

But why must the price be hiding out of sight?

Why must chivalry be the cost,

Of something genius lost?

Don’t get me wrong, there are those different from the rest,

They aren’t always the prettiest, the smartest or the best,

They are the ones with the swing in their hips,

The ones with the true smiles on their lips,

The ones that watch as the azure sky turns to night,

And wait patiently until their silhouette leaves their sight.

thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it ^.^ I really like these challenges when Lionheart thinks of his new one I'll totally take it. I think the challenges make my writing better and pushes me a little, which is what I think is so great about writing, being able to push yourself unlimitedly. There's no limit in writing ^.^

awesome....will check hers too....

Lol^_^! Me like-- me like! It's really good, my friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like how it's talking about people hiding behind their "masks" and that getting to know them-- all their sides-- does not come instantly. You have to work hard at it. And then you talk about the people who are all warm and invite you in, do you know what I mean?

Oh well if you don't--- but I thought this poem was brilliant^_^!

Lot's of special chocolate to 'ya,

Ghiradelli Girl.
