I sit here in the cell of my creation
A grim dark world that my mind,
Has laid out for no one else, but me.
I can feel the cold seeping in my soul
As a shudder runs full length of my spine,
Eyes sewed shut so I may not even see.
I recall a trauma to my being and tears
Then nothing until this moment now,
I don’t understand how this came to be.
Movement is restricted to just a finger
My arms and legs held tight and fast,
As if they are afraid to set me free.
What haveI done to deserve this hell?
I can’t recall or remember can you help,
Me escape from this obvious atrocity.
Oh dear God! no I don’t believe what you say
I must look deep within and here I must stay
I cry as I realise there is no-one here but me
Sitting in my eternal complicity!
