You are more than just a reflection of me

You are part of my being made for all to see

I did not choose to make you my image alone

And for that one mistake I must atone

For your flaws and quirks are what make you real

To have you anything less would seem surreal

There are times I wonder if your understand

That you were created by my loving hand

To have the knowledge and power within your soul

I often wonder what will be your life's goal

Will you trek this world with tired feet

Or will being a mother be your treat

Will creating another life within your image

End up being your life long visage

Either way I will love you just the same

As you go thru life with goals to obtain

You are far and away my best creation so far

My love, My life, My Daughter you are.
