Its almost been a year since I lost her so I cried and write this as a way to heal.

I would never have guessed a year had past,

Since my eyes looked upon your beautiful face last.

My mind wanders back to times now gone

And I am often reminded of you by a song

I miss your laugh, your hugs, and I miss your smile

I miss the way your soothing voice removed my toil.

Why did you have to go and leave me alone?

For now the rest of my life I must atone.

You were my friend, my joker my morning sun

You were my rock, my love, but always my mum.
