I not sure but I think God lied

Her best friends all prayed

But my mum died

The birds played seek and hide

On a beautiful warm summers day

But my mum died

I did everything, I really tried

I held her tight and stayed all night

But my mum died

She was never contrived

Or fickle in any way

But my mum died

Her love she never denied

To family and friend alike

But my mum died

Her tenderness was never belied

A heart big and full of love

But my mum died

I sat for days by her side

Laughing and crying

But my mum died

I hold her now, deep inside

My heart and soul will not divide

And even though I cried and cried

I will never forget the day, my mum died.

Love you mum
