I see you peering, looking within
At the walls cold and yet smooth
Covered with organic pasty skin
*
Its solid lines and strength a sin
But you are draw to its power
To hold your heart deep within
*
You want to be free of its grasp
But every day you need its help
As you boldly take on life’s task
*
Without it a present can’t endure
And to send a gift of love
Its safe arrival you would be unsure
*
It takes all that we as humans can give
As it travels a dangerous journey
To ensure at times others may live
*
Next time you hide behind your locks
Take a moment and dare to dream
About life without the humble Box!
