The morning dew reflects the sun,
As the mirror, the image of life.
The mist transcends to earth,
As carefully as flesh, upon a knife.
As the new day is born
And the heat filters through the night
The sparrow on his morning trek
Glides, as an angel in flight.
The afternoon gathers
And life is all about
The silence, the pleasure disturbed
As if by a howling piercing shout.
Night once again makes its challenge,
As it forces its way within,
With its undeniable evil, and foreboding.
And the frightening wailing of the wind.
As night falls into serenity
And not a noise or creature is seen.
The black, of darkness, is here and now
As you see the day has been.........
