It doesn't hurt at all

Every day, every dream.

Every face, every voice,

Like the wind, they fade quickly.

It doesn't hurt at all

Every sound, every memory

Every picture that was

Thrown carelessly on to the ground.

It doesn't hurt at all.

Personally, I'd rather notice everyone else than NOT notice everybody around me... but it's different for everyone!

Is it a sarcastic "It doesn't hurt at all"? Good poem. I'm just interested to find out what it really means to you. How you really feel? It isn't really expressed. Or maybe it is and I just didn't get it. Please let me know.

Well, I think that in the poem, a girl (or boy, it really doesn't matter) just had an immense heartbreak, and they are numbing themselves to the pain by telling themselves it doesn't really hurt and that they will eventually get over it. Which basically means that they are lying to themselves...
