Wings, burning black
A demon, fire in his eye.
Yet shielded between the feathers dark
Pale innocence doth lie.
Brought forth to cause chaos, catastrophe and war
Her gaze on me did fall,
An Angel from God's halls
With beauty ranked above them all.
I am her Shield; her Guardian,
Her Love,
She with the wings
As white as a dove,
While she keeps away
The Sins and the Pain
That follow a demon
Like a dog left in the rain.
Like Yin and Yang,
Like Water and Fire,
Constantly balanced
Our love burning higher.
I orbit her always,
Like a moon to a sun,
Where she goes I follow
Because She is the one.
I am her Shield; her Guardian
Her Love,
She with the wings
As white as a dove.
