Cruel joke too far

I may as well go bury my sorrow,
for I'm telling you now,
I shall see no tomorrow.
Please don't tell me to try and cope,
because I have long let go of all hope.

See how you've led me to the end.
Taunted, teased, hurt, shattered.
Unhappy, heart smashed, bashed, broken, and battered.

You turned my life into a joke.
Your joke, and now it's a cruel joke too far.
Well I hope that when I'm gone,
I leave a scar, engraved in your heart forever.

I
