Cruel joke too far
I may as well go bury my sorrow,
for I’m telling you now,
I shall see no tomorrow.
Please don’t tell me to try and cope,
because I have long let go of all hope.
And as for you, a group of friends?
More like enemies!
See how you’ve led me to the end.
Taunted, teased, hurt, shattered.
Unhappy, heart smashed, bashed, broken, and battered.
You turned my life into a joke.
Your joke, and now it’s a cruel joke too far.
Well I hope that when I’m gone,
I leave a scar, engraved in your heart forever.
I
