THE TREE AND THE BOY
The tree was huge and the boy was small.
He could never climb the tree, he thought.
Climbing up the tree, will he not fall?
In short he was thinking a lot.
The lazy boy heard a distant lion's roar.
He knew his end was very near.
He climbed up the tree using all his four.
He will never get down, he did fear.
The lion searched for his meal but in vain.
So, with a pensive face away he went.
He will never get down coz he isn't like rain.
There he will remain was what he really meant.
Hearing a snake hissing over his head;
He jumped from above and landed down below.
He fell down from the uncomfortable bed.
And his trembling hands searched the pillow.
