What I Think About Animal Abuse

Do you know what bothers me

And what hurts me the most?

That so many animals are hurt on purpose

By their mean and cynical hosts.

Some dogs and cats

Are beaten and bruised,

And this treatment looks like

They are being abused.

Some are hung, beaten,

Neglected and microwaved,

But what is it going to take

To get these animals saved?

It just breaks my heart

When I see what these animals go through.

If no one else is willing to help stop this,

Then I guess it's just me and you.

I AGREE WITH YOU!! Animal cruelty just breaks my heart. I really can't stand people who take on the responsibility of a pet and then abandon it when it becomes "too hard" or "too much work." Grrrrr! I liked the last 2 lines of this poem. I think that people often aren't willing to face the reality that if nobody is coming to the rescue they might have to do it themselves. Wonderful!

I AGREE WITH YOU THERE!! Because God made the animals, not for abusing, but for loving and caring for them when they need you, so.... LOVE YOUR PETS!!!

...microwaved...? i didnt know people did that to animals. but i totally agree. i hate it when people abuse animals.

As well as myself too!!! Because I saw a commercial, and I have been trying to find away to put an end to this once and for all. And I also went on YouTube and they were sticking liquid medicine in a tube and stuck the tube full of it and the monkey's nose and the monkey didn't like it, so then I started bawling each time that I watch it. POOR MONKEY!!!

hi! i. alas. at last a poem about animal cruelty. i guess its just me and u. this is a cruel world where humans r massacred and animals r butchered. and few kind souls like u think about their welfare. may this light spread. a thought provoking poem. lol. ;-)
