My Great-Grandma died on August 14, 2008, and this poem is dedicated to her!!!!! View table of contents...

Why Did She Have To Go???

Her time had come

and her life did go.

And do you know what???

I miss her so.

She was sweet

and she was kind

and she also had

a caring mind.

She loved her family

and she loved her friends.

But there is one problem,

why did her life have to end???

But at least, all I know

is that she's in a better place

and at least she doesn't have to be

in a depressing earth-life race.

She's happy and free

and she feels much better.

But I wish I could send

up an enveloped letter.

But if she is happy,

then I'm happy too.

So come, don't cry

we have some celebrating to do!!!

ok this is completely wierd... if you check out some of my writings you'll find out about my younger sister. Her b-day was on april 14th. She passed away a couple weeks after her b-day. Isn't that wierd? Well, she was only 10. But I love this poem. It makes me want to cry. But maybe some of my writings could help you deal with this. I hope so. I really love the phrase. "and at least she doesn't have to be

Great work.and i know how you feel. i lost my grandma on august 25 2008. just remember...they are in a better place!
