you were kissing her when you finally looked at me. But you were looking at me.

Bitter like saliva with direction
                I can’t fix this
A Brief promise of protection
   Like cloaking devices
You disappear.
In different directions
                                So easily handsome, to me
A chameleon beautiful
Nothing graceful about erections
If you can prove me wrong,
                                                Let me touch you again
Let me sleep in your bed while you’re away
Studying the dream charts
                Of a beautiful girl
Who calls you after
                                                Her most vivid nightmare
You woke up wondering
Why my screams sound like calling telephones.
As soon as you leave the room
                I run.
I run forever around the Earth
So I am tired enough
You are a skin infection
I scratch where you make contact
I try to reach the center
                                I want to see
If your fingerprints are inside of me
On my eyelids
Leaving gentle tracks
That trace my brain
                                My fiction.
