An imposing six foot tall
To my five foot none
Eyes simpering blue
Connecting sad green ones
Build broad and manly
My own stature slight
Dark hair on chest
A favoured delight
Grin warm and tempting
Mine open and generous
Clear what on my mind?
This could be dangerous
Wore designer suit
Brogues choice of shoe
Pure cotton shirt
In mixed shades of blue
He appreciated class
Complimented my attire
Tailored dress, stiletto heels
Could he sense my desire?
His mane dark and smooth
Mine blond and wiry
Appeared affable
Hint of temper fiery?
Cut short and neat
Fashioned for youth
Same age as me
Perhaps a bit uncouth?
Fingers clean and manicured
His arms were toned and strong
An easy-going manner
We quickly got along
Politely left his quote
Which I agreed was fair
But my boss disputed
The roof needed repair
Brought me flowers anyway
Must have cost a bob or two
As recommended other
I was impressed with his thank you
It was eight months later
Before chief decided
Time for restoration
And we re-collided
Another few days passed
Presented with the bill
And wasn’t long before
Were sharing mutual skill
