I never really understood D. His words and actions simply didn't merge; One can only guess at the deeper meaning behind an abstract painting which was all I could do with the way D treated me..... or perhaps there was no deeper meaning.

The shapes were blurred to some degree
Impeding true identity
Shades of grey alluding to
Individual cryptic clue
Splattering of black and white
Made me question wrong from right
Stippling confused the piece
Forced frustration to increase
My deliberation strained
Owing to the unexplained
Tired untrained eye would squint
Puzzling over each vague hint
Concluded rudimentary fact
I’d never understand abstract
