Who is to judge whether love or obsession?

The first charge obsession

How do you plead?

Guilty m'lud

And the second is greed

Guilty m'lud

Is how I plead

I'm guilty as charged

To alleged misdeed

The last is delusion

How do you plead?

Innocent of this

And additional feed

For there is no illusion

In all I believe

Though I admit to despair

At unexpected speed

I admit to affair

And to one I deceived

When I claimed it was 'want'

Rather than need

When I claimed the sex

Was all he'd achieved

When I said I need nothing

Which is what I received

And who M'lud

Are you to judge

Whether it's lust, obsession

Or love?

I admit to feelings

Beyond my control

And to digging myself

A large fucking hole

I admit broken heart

I admit broken soul

I admit to my part

In confused loving role

But one thing I must

Make crystal clear

It's not purely lust

And how it appears

I find it unjust

That everyone fears

That I cannot trust

My own eyes and ears

So M'lud

My own conclusion?

It is unbridled love
