Longing for love
And inclusion

Struggling
With self-esteem
Vulnerability
And oppression
Stunts one’s growth
Impedes progression
In each adult
There is pain
Undisclosed
Ugly stain
Partial business
Needs addressing
Haunted aches
Need expressing
In each adult
Enfant terrible
Pain the same
Yet comparable
Experienced
Divergently
Yet suffering
To some degree
In each adult
Essentially
The child within
Must be set free
