From the dust we came
To the dust we return
Wise and fools are alike
In death they are equal

I like, It is very short, is there a possibility of maybe lengthing it? Or even condensing it to three lines to test you?
Just a thought! :)

there is a possibility of lengthing it or condensing it. i made this one short on purpose, just taking out what i wanna say. but i'll think of a way to make it better. thanks Simone:)

hi! simone. this is the truth - DEATH THE LEVELLER. do anything in this world, call urself a king or a beggar but finally all go to soil and death equals them all. it is poetic justice in a deadly way.

an intensely realistic poem. keep it up. and let it remain this way. for the meaning is loud and clear. lol. ;-)

in life we are different, but despite all the things that set us apart, we all share the same fate as human. thanks Pratibha:)

Indie, sorry I really struggle to read people's novels right now - maybe one day.
However I love to peruse people's poetry and I thought this was written like a very wise fable or proverb. In God's eyes everyone is the same - something we find it hard to come to terms with, and all who repent are forgiven. I think God's power to forgive is sometimes forgotten.
Whoops! I am getting carried away here but I liked your simple, truthful poem.

yep. when we died, we're no different from one another. there's no point in death, so we should be humble while we are living, coz life is what counts the most:) thanks Subbu
