I remember
The first time we met
We were little and innocent
Become friends was not hard

I remember
The jokes we shared
Under the shady tree at school
We call it our port back then

I remember
Our fight out of jealousy
We stopped speaking to one another
And tears never stop flowing

I remember
Our sincere apologizes
We buried the hatchet together
And we learnt our lessons

I remember
All the joy and pain
Some of them we had decided to forget
And the rest we cherished till forever

hi! if. is this about orange and u. tell me, tell me. during my school days, i had a best friend who was a quiet shy girl and i was the dominant bossy type. she'd do everything i asked. now when i look back, i can't believe i was like that. somewhere it strikes a chord when i read ur poem. indeed, memorable. ;-)

hi bubbly! You're right, the poem's about Orange and me. She was like you, and I was like your friend. At that time I don't have many friends so I would do anything to keep her with me including obeying her. We fight a lot, if you wanna know. But we've got very close to one another. No more fightings between us. Thanks for your comment, I appreciate it.

Wow...I'm the bossy one right?U r the one that I always bully...hahhhhaaaaa...I won't forget that...Luv u,sis!

Yeah, you were the bossy one. But never mind that now cause some of that bossy attitude brushed unto me and now I'm torturing you too... haha... let bygones be bygones dear.

Orange is one of my bestfriends. We grew up together so we kinda call one another sisters sometimes. Thanks Pratibha! I have a big sis and two little sisters. While I was away in college, I miss them a lot too...

Aww, that was really sweet.
It was beautifully written.

Thanks. I appreciate it:)

I can relate to this one, I had a similar experience with a friend of mine. Only, after we made up we still didn't talk much. She never even invited me to her wedding.

It's ok. Sometimes we just have to accept that some things won't be the same even though we thought everything is all right. Don't be disheartened with her, just hope for the best in her and your lives:)

u remind of my younger brother. u know i love him sooooooo much that i gave him a name by which he has been known now. he is soooooooo good in studies - always the first in class. i like teaching him. sometimes he disappoints me, but i just forget that as out of his immaturity. i like the simplicity of ur language very much!!! keep it up. and i hope this meeting u through ur poetry will establish the same friendship among us.

Aww...thank you so much, you're very sweet... GOD bless you:D

Your poem reminds me of a best friend in my teens. We may as well have been sisters. We laughed and shared everything, yet there were small explosions of misunderstanding and frustration and maybe a little jealousy as we grew older and apart. It's sad, but our lives took different turns. We remained friendly, but I haven't had that kind of intense friendship since.

Things changed as you get older. i always hope my friendship would stay just the way it is during childhood, but it changes. There were differences, it set some of us apart from our friends. But be happy. Thanks Phoebe:)

This one was very moving. It talked to me about burying the hatchet together. Relationships can turn sour but forgiveness can make it so sweet.

Thanks Susan:) forgiving is one of the most challenging task for me... my friends and i have to cry together before we could say we're sorry to one another...

Yeah... I guess that everybody have PRECIOUS TIMES in past. :);) Somebody can bury the hatchet together, someone can't. :(( But sometimes need to do things what r so hard to do (I don't know... maybe can't understand idea what I wanted to say, because I don't know english so good... but anyhow, I like it!!! :) It reminds my friend. But we r no longer a friends.).
