A Reason To Die.
You give them your all
Yet they still stand and watch you fall
-
It's the smile that you force to your face
When inside you're feeling like a worthless disgrace
-
Why is it that even when you try
They still snatch your will to rise up and fly
-
Why is making them happy, proud, so tough
Even when you're doing everything you can, it isn't enough
-
They still treat you like you're a stranger
Cast their eyes away, clench their jaws like you're danger
-
Harsh comments invade there speech
Insults fly like knives through their teeth
-
Each word an unexpected blow to your gut
They're the reason you find relief when you cut
-
You're thrown back and forth like a ball in a game
You surrendered to grief, and they're to blame
-
So you gave up the fight to live
Even if they asked, you couldn't forgive
-
Drop down to your knees
Let the hope in your painfully cease
-
They're supposed to love you; it feels like betrayal
In their eyes you're nothing but an epic fail
-
So from yourself you try to hide
They're the reason you turned to suicide
