Despondent.
_
What do you do?
Your failure's is all you see
The night sinks in to your fragile bones
You've died before you've even breathed
_
Blood runs dry deep inside
There's nothing left to keep you alive
Yet a smile is fastened to your face
Truths are hidden, you live by lies
_
Pain amplifies harsher and stronger
Love becomes feeble and weak
Demons haunt your lonely nights
Your guardian angel can no longer fight
_
The fire of love dies in ache
Leaving in its wake ashes of hate
Embers of pain freeze your core
And do nothing to melt the ice in your soul
_
With labored breath's you breathe on
In dying hope of a dawn to come
Lying in a dark hollow, six feet deep
Hoping this breath is your last to keep
_
What do you do?
Rise up, leave your failures behind
Let the past go; your heart will beat again inside
Seek the light, its never too far away
_
Even the darkest nights have stars that shine
Caterpillars eventually turn to butterflies
One candle is all you need
It'll get you through to daylight
_
A smile will brighten those empty eyes
You'll learn to love this brief life
For you have found one reason to live
Against those many more to die tonight
