Tick tock as the clock struck
One by one they fell
Tick tock as the clock struck
Sending them to hell
One two they’re at the door
Asking for you by name
Three four your on the floor
Things will never be the same
Running feet quicken their pace
Smell of blood is rife
This is nothing to do with race
It is to do with life
An hour to go it’ll be done
The voting then will cease
We will be all undone
Only death can bring us peace
Does anyone out there care?
I hardly think they do
When my children died out there
Where the hell were you?
The President now will reign supreme
His people voted him there
No opposition to his regime
The ballot boxes were bare.
