Through darkest days, and brightest nights

life seems to fade, wanting to trade it all for happiness,

but left with only loneliness

alone and affraid your thoughts become stale

your face is pale, trying your hardest it all still fails

there is no trail nothing left to find, follow, trace

dead inside you put a frowning smile upon your face

just a glance, a new chance to make everything right again

only to be left for more, your heart is unsure

deciding right from wrong you still stay strong

when it's all gone to waste inside, you fasten your pace

missing that beautiful place under the stars, after a long grueling night at the bar

you have nothing left, but an un-seen scar.
